Orion Engineered Carbons (OEC) is one of the world’s leading suppliers of carbon black. The products advantage is demonstrated in applications like Printing, Coatings, Polymer, Material Rubber Goods, Rubber and Batteries. OEC produces a broad range of carbon blacks using five different production technologies that include high-performance specialty gas blacks, acetylene blacks, furnace blacks, lamp blacks, thermal blacks and after treatment processes to modify them. Orion operates 14 global production sites and has approximately 1,425 employees worldwide.

We manufacture a range of rosin resins and hydrocarbon derivatives which are well established and proven in the personal care market as adhesion promoters, skin conditioners and film formers.

Rosin resins are used in depilatories, makeup, and hair-grooming products, where they function as tackifiers, skin conditioners, or emulsifying agents. Our products help make mascara and lipstick wearable for longer, make lipstick glossy, and help deodorants hold their fragrance.

Our products come from multiple sources. For example, our gum rosin is harvested from live pine trees using a negative carbon process; our hydrocarbon resin is petroleum-based; and our plasticisers and fragrance fixatives are plant-based.

Grupo Petroquímico Beta (GPB) is a Mexican company created in 2005 for the refining and sale of light hydrocarbons (solvents) and the manufacture of alcoxylates and their specialties. The extensive experience of GPB staff in the design, construction and operation of alcoxylated product plants allows them to be unique in this industry. GPB distinguishes itself in the alcoxylation industry by having its own Research, Development and Innovation laboratory to collaborate with its customers in creating and developing their products for market introduction. GPB has received several awards from public bodies and customers for its excellence in innovation, the safety of its processes and logistics services.

Ningxia Boyuan Rubber Co. Ltd. established its new plant in July 2018, partially relocating the old factory and creating a state-of-the-art production facility, leveraging its extensive experience in the CSM (Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene) and ECO (Epichlorohydrin Rubber) markets. With a production capacity of 5,000 tons for both ECO and CSM, Ningxia Boyuan is the world's second-largest strategic producer of these elastomers.
